The right solution, without all the bells and whistles.

We're a locally owned IT business in Port Macquarie, and we've been looking after homes and businesses on the Mid North Coast since 2008. What sets us apart is attention to detail, and an obsession with getting the right solution for what you actually need. Nothing more.

We start by working out what you really need. Then we set up something secure and reliable that's as efficient as it can be, on your budget and on your time. We won't sell you things you don't need or push extras to pad out the bill. Oversized firewalls and bloated management plans aren't our style. We're more down to earth than that.

Computer builds and repairs

Slow computer, a dead laptop, or a virus that won't go away? We'll find out what's actually wrong and fix that, and we'll tell you straight if a repair isn't worth the money.

When it's time for something new, we build and supply computers and servers sized for the job you need them to do. Good parts, sensible specs, and no paying for power you'll never use.

IT support

Day to day help for your business when something stops working, plus the quiet background work that stops it breaking in the first place. That covers backups that are actually tested, security updates, virus and malware protection, Internet and email problems, and setting up new staff and software.

For businesses that want it, we offer ongoing support where we keep an eye on your systems and fix problems before your staff notice them. It's sized to what you have, not a one size fits all plan full of extras. Give us a call and we'll work out what makes sense for you.

Networks, servers and software

Networks and Wi-Fi. Office networks, data cabling and patching, Wi-Fi that reaches the back room, network security, remote access, camera systems and phone systems.

Servers and hosting. Servers set up properly and kept up to date, plus website and email hosting on our own servers, looked after by us.

Custom software. When off the shelf software doesn't fit the way you work, we build what does. Our own eisteddfod platform, Complete Comps, is used by the Port Macquarie & District Eisteddfod Society to run their entries, programs and results.

About us

Port Computing Solutions is a small, locally owned IT business based in Port Macquarie. We've been doing this since 2008, so we've seen just about every way a computer or network can go wrong.

We'd rather fix the real problem once than keep coming back to the same one. That means taking the time to understand how your business works, being honest about what you need, and leaving things tidy and documented when we're done. If something's simple, we'll keep it simple.

Service area

We come to you anywhere within about 150 kilometres of Port Macquarie. That includes Wauchope, Laurieton, Lake Cathie, Kendall, Kew, North Haven, Bonny Hills, Kempsey and Taree. We can also help remotely, wherever you are.

We work by appointment only. We're often out on site, so the workshop isn't always staffed. Please call before you drop in so we can make sure someone's there.
